The Royal College of Anaesthetists have now opened applications to join the new voluntary register for PA(A)s. It is envisaged that this register will be the first step towards statutory regulation.
It is recommended by the RCoA that Fellows of the College only supervise PA(A)s who are named on the voluntary register held by the RCoA.
