April 2021 update
In addition to the below we can confirm the Association of Anaesthetists (AoA) have extended their ‘members patient transfer insurance‘ to include AAs who are members of the AoA, when on a transfer with a consultant anaesthetist.
Many AAs were involved in transfers of COVID patients across the country, those who continue to be involved in out of hospital patient transfers, may now wish to consider this benefit as part of the membership of the AoA.
The Association of Anaesthetists in support of AA continuing professional development have created a specific membership category for AAs.
Details of some of the benefits can be found on our CPD page, with membership rates available on the Association of Anaesthetists website.
