Skills for Health are looking for NHS employer representatives to set up a trailblazer group to develop an Anaesthesia Associate Apprenticeship

A group of employers is being established with the purpose of developing an apprenticeship standard for Anaesthesia Associate [formerly known as Physicians’ Assistant (Anaesthesia)].

To ensure there is sufficient geographical spread and differing sizes of organisations, the group is very keen to recruit additional employer representatives from NHS Trusts across England in preparation for submitting a proposal to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

Once approval is given by the Institute, the Trailblazer group will then develop the apprenticeship standard and assessment plan for Anaesthesia Associate.

Please see here  to find out more about this soon-to-be-regulated role.

If you are an NHS employer representative who would be interested in being part of the development of this apprenticeship, please register your details here by Thursday 1 August 2019.
